Who We are
SNG ARGEN has been providing actuarial services since 2000. Initially, the focus was on Employee Benefits, later expanding to include loss calculations for attorneys and their clients. In 2018, we joined forces with SNG Grant Thornton and now serve as their in-house actuarial function, offering banking and insurance solutions in both audit and advisory capacities.
The total actuarial team consists of approximately 50 employees, including 10 actuaries and 40 actuarial analysts and general support staff, operating out of three offices in Johannesburg, Centurion and the Free State. The team also has a presence in Cape Town and representation in Namibia and other African countries.

Our team of 50 includes 10 qualified actuaries, 8 approved valuators, and 4 approved liquidators – making us one of the largest independent actuarial employers in South Africa. Collectively, our actuaries bring more than 170 years of experience and average tenure of 17 years – loyalty and expertise our clients can rely on.
